Retired Wardens Blogsite:
While talking with some retired wardens at a recent get-together, I was asked if I could set up a blog so that retired wardens could stay in touch and comment on issues or talk about things of interest. I said, that I was already hosting a couple of blogs, but I should be able to set one up that would meet the needs of the retired wardens. Well, it took me a while to sit down and do it, but it looks like it is ready to go. Since I saw lots of garbage posts on my other blogs, this one will be only for fellow retirees and active wardens. It will be password protected so that we won’t have too much spam on the site. If you are interested in having access to the blog, just drop me an email and let me know what password you want to use and I will get you set up.
To start things off, I created posts on three different subjects. One issue that we have followed for a while is the issue about CCW’s and HR 218, another topic is about signing up for Social Security and Medicare. The final topic is more about something fun; reading and sharing Game Warden Stories and Authors. Ever since I sent out the note in December of 2012, I have had more responses about Game Warden Stories than just about anything else that I have ever posted on the website or sent out to fellow retirees. So, check out the blog and let me know what you think.
